My office has a floor! This is an amazing accomplishment, as the entire second floor has been a disaster since about August. The second floor houses my office and my studio/craft room and long hallway connecting them. I've been in a bit of an internet hibernation for the latter part of this month. I did manage to close on my house on the 8th, though there was just as much drama as the rest of the process. (Lost keys, car accidents, giant 1950's fridges left it in the basement, misread meter readings, a whole boatload of stuff). But the house is mine! YAY!

As the title says, my hair is all gone! Okay, not completely but it's shorter then I've had it for years. I cut off 13 inches to send off to Wigs for Kids. It had been two years since my last haircut (when I donated 15 inches to Locks of Love.) Last time I still had enough hair to pull into a ponytail. Today's my birthday! Not a whole lot planned, as usual. (By this time even I'm tried from all the holiday socializing that goes on from Christmast to New Years, even if if is my birthday.) Yesterday's "Lake Effect" snow dumped an additional 13 inches on us, bringing the monthly total to 45 inches and the season to date total to 62 inches. The snow for the year is now equal to my height.

The storms that hit everyone else ended, but now we're getting Lake Effect snow.  I feel like I'm living in a snow globe.  According to the almanac on 9wsyr.com, as of yesterday we've gotten 32 inches of snow this month (49 for the season), 5 inches yesterday, 9 inches on Friday... and bits and peices before and after that.
